If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
VeraID provides an identity-first security platform for managing non-human identities (NHIs), including service accounts, API keys, CI/CD tokens, and AI agents. The Service includes:
- Identity management and lifecycle controls
- Credential generation, rotation, and revocation
- Just-in-time (JIT) access provisioning
- Policy-based access control
- Audit logging and compliance reporting
- Integrations with cloud providers and DevOps tools
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

- Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled
Prices may change with 30 days notice. Refunds are provided as described in our refund policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, documentation, and branding, is owned by VeraID and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information received from the other party. This includes Your Data, our product roadmap, and pricing information not publicly available.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERAID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeraID from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ends immediately
- You may export Your Data for 30 days
- We may delete Your Data after the export period
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
